As an experienced chiropractic business owner I have tried many different marketing services. I've spent a lot of money in the process. Maybe you have, too. Most of the services I tried have value. However, many came up short in being valuable to my practice. Maybe they worked for colleagues in other areas. Maybe not. I had a lot of experience in various marketing avenues before I became a chiropractor. I have written, created and produced television commercials, radio ads, and even print ads. I have sold advertising, worked with clients in multiple states, been consulted for ad copy for various projects, etc.
My unique background means I have certain advantages over most other chiropractic and other business owners. Because I have been involved in the marketing business as a professional, I have had the opportunity to develop skills that most business owners don't have, and generally don't need.
The keyword there is system. Social Media can be a valuable marketing tool. EVERYBODY uses social media. With social media it is possible to target specific demographic groups with specificity... on a more limited budget than any other media.
My system uses specifically created ads - paired with specifically designed websites - to work TOGETHER.
Focus... It matters what you are trying to target. Do you want to attract more niche patients, such as knee pain, neuropathy, disc problems, shoulders?
Professional, Competent, Welcoming. Designed to generate a call to your office. You want to appear as professional as possible. Some of the ads I have seen used widely by chiropractors look like an ad for the circus about to leave town. Sure, they attract attention but it's not a good look.
Have you tried the services that promise lots of leads... only to find that the "leads" are often just people that want to talk about their health issues, but have no intention of doing anything about them. Yes, I tried those, too. Several of them. My staff wasted a lot of frustrating time dealing with people that were not qualified leads. The experience was more like leading a support group than generating calls from patients that actually show up in your office.
The idea behind the ads we create is to evoke an action step by people that you are targeting - a phone call to make an appointment. Once on the phone your staff can do the rest.
I had a recent conversation with a new client. He asked me to review his current website that he was paying hundreds of dollars monthly for. It was a nice looking chiropractic website. In fact, it looked just about like every other nice looking chiropractic website. That means there was nothing there to set him apart. There was some typical copy-and-paste standard chiropractic material... don't forget a spinning animated spine... but nothing motivated the viewer to take an action step - make the call!
Where , exactly, are your best patients coming from? What is their age? Who are they? Would you like to attract hundreds more just like them? I ask each client for specific demographics about their unique, specific desired growth area.
Have you ever been fishing? Marketing is a lot like fishing. You have to decide what kind of fish you are after, know where those fish hang out, understand their habits, what kind of bait they prefer, then be prepared to reel them in once they are hooked. You want fish in the boat... not another story about the one that got away. Experienced fishing pros will tell you that all of the above changes on a frequent basis. One day a certain bait is making the fish go crazy... the next day (or maybe an hour later) the exact same bait does nothing! When the weather changes, the fish behavior changes. The professional fishing champion studies the fish, their habits, and constantly changes the bait, the tackle, the locations being fished and numerous other aspects of their efforts.
Marketing is a lot like this. The results change, sometimes abruptly. Sometimes the terrific strategy that was working yesterday doesn't work at all... and it is difficult to know why.
For this reason, we create a variety of ads and sometimes vary our demographic approach. Nothing works universally all the time.
My approach has been been developed over several years... and is still being updated as needed.
I start with the same kind of ads that doctors from across the country have called and texted me asking about. "I love your ads, how can I have ads like that?" After receiving similar requests from more than a dozen friends, one doctor convinced me to start this service. I create and produce professional attention-getting ads very similar to the ones I use. These ads are custom created for you, however, so anything can be adjusted (usually).
Everything about my ads comes out of my own computer. I also have a graphic artist to create custom work if needed. (I have helped friends create websites, ads etc for years. So usually we can handle things needed for this particular project well.)
Keep your existing website and do whatever you want with it. I have found most websites used by chiropractors do not do much to help promote niches such as knees, neuropathy, discs, etc. I recommend that we create a new website designed to be paired with the FB ads. This new website will not be an encyclopedic explanation about the history of how DD Palmer adjusted Harvey Lillard. It is designed to do one thing - evoke an action from people needing your unique services. As a chiropractic business owner, what do you want? You want a patient to pick up their phone.
I don't promise or guarantee any results. Just like you do not guarantee any results for your patients. I can tell you this system works well for me, and that is why my friends have all called me in the first place. (By the way, I don't market this service of me helping with Facebook marketing... at all. It is focused entirely on providing the kind of help my friends like you are requesting.) Just like I explain to patients, even though this treatment has helped others, your results will be unique to you. There are many factors that affect the results.
I recommend that you think things through and if you think this is a good fit for you and your business, decide to commit to working with this plan for a year. This program is designed to pay for itself if it generates as little as one extra $5-6000 case every TWO MONTHS. That means if this can generate 6 additional cases in this range over the course of the one year commitment - it pays for itself.
This program makes perfect sense for many doctors that want results from Facebook but don't want to spend the time learning about how Facebook works, how to develop ads etc.
If instead of seeking someone to help you create and mange your Facebook marketing to make it more effective in producing new patients, you just have occasional questions about how to do this or that, just ask. I always answer questions from my friends for free.
The fee for this service we are providing covers our expenses and the time spent in creating and managing the ads and website. Here's the deal... even if we create the most fabulous ad ever... if no one sees it there will be no results. In order to get the word "out there" the ads must be boosted. That is the "ad spend". The ad spend is the amount we spend each month boosting certain ads. For example, I boost certain ads on my FB page, usually spending $300-600 per ad. My total monthly ad spend ranges from $1500 to 3000. Your ad spend budget will be in addition to the administrative services we provide. You can set your own budget, but I recommend a minimum of $2,000 per month.
